アルキドバター/油絵具メディウム

The main ingredient of our medium is alkyd resin. Alkyd resin is a polyester resin that is modified using siccative oils, in our case linseed. Alkyd resin interacts very well with driers thus allowing for the creation of paints, mediums and varnishes that dry quickly and stay flexible and clear over time.
Alkyd butter, thickens the consistency of oil paint and allows it to dry much more quickly. It is particularly useful for painting impastos, where it helps to assure that the paint dries thoroughly.

We recommend not using more than 50% of this medium to the volume of oil paint as it may cause wrinkles and crackling.
