Developed using the knowledge acquired during the process of creating our range of oil paints, our NeoGel medium is both a painting medium and a grinding binder, greatly facilitating the production of oil paints from dry pigments.

Despite its gelatinous texture, NeoGel is made from pure walnut oil to which less than 15% of additives are added but above all it does not contain any solvent, making it an ideal choice for those who wish to reduce emissions and toxicity in the studio.

The additives facilitate in-depth drying while fixing the consistency of paints prepared with NeoGel by making them more stable. The gel texture greatly reduces the oil/pigment separation observed when the paint is stored in a tube for a long time. These additives stabilize the colors thus prepared and prevent them from liquefying if the paint is not used immediately.

For color preparation: Grind dry pigments directly into the grinding oil; no other additives are required – NeoGel serves as your binder. The paint thus prepared is compatible with any other artist oil paints or mediums. For optimal results, store the prepared paints in tubes.

For use as a painting medium: NeoGel imparts a semi-gloss shine and a gelatinous texture to your paintings. Simply mix it to taste with your oil colors.
