Heated Spatula Handle

A heating handle whose tip is interchangeable with several models allowing a multitude of different applications. It is ideal for encaustic painting techniques, pyrography, leather, soldering, etc. The short shaft length (only 1 3/4 ") brings work closer and enables better control of point for more exacting work. The heat shield keeps handle cool to use. Balances pencil grip handle reduces fatigue and aids in control of point. The point furnished is the all-purpose (AC-EN0085). It can be removed and is interchangeable with the available optional points.

Pen develops point temperatures up to 775°F / 412 °C that burns wood faster and darker. It is especially good for harder woods like cherry and walnut.

When using this product for encaustic painting, it is advisable to combine this tool with the temperature regulator (AC-EN0040).
