レンブラント メディウム

The name of this medium refers to the art of Rembrandt which was characterized by high impastos such as what this medium provides. Rather than being an authentic replica of the painting medium used by the Dutch master our medium aims at providing the same type of feel and painting effects without the disadvantages of the original recipe.

Even if, at first sight, this medium could resembles the cold wax paste. It is rather designed as tough film forming oil painting medium where the latter is just wax you can manipulate at room temperature. Hence it will always dry well and make tough and flexible paint films when used in oil painting it can even be mixed directly with dry pigments.
